WORKING CLASS HEROES - ANDREW POPE

What up Surface and Friends! My name is Andrew Pope and I'm from Spokane, WA. Kinda like those super cheesey ads John Travolta made for those expensive watches, my profession is being a skier, but the United States Air Force is my career. Let me set the record straight from the start also, there's no shirtless volleyball games or riding motorcycles next to runways, I spend 8-12 hours a day fixing aircraft. It can really suck when it's snowing cats and dogs at work and you're stuck shoveling wings off for the morning sorties. But... the knowledge that the turns are gonna be deep next weekend make it all worth it! I volunteer for deployment every summer so I have the winter to shred, that way my profession and my career stay out of each other's business. I wouldn't change a thing though, it's a chance to serve my country and shred the Northwest. Anyways, here's a few pictures of my weekly fix now that lifts aren't spinning here: the Mt Spokane backcountry. It's a quick little tour with an awesome view and some buttery corn turns on the way down. Also for your viewing pleasure: work pics of me and my aircraft, the KC-135.

Thanks!
