Hello surface skis ! my name is Julian De La Rosa this is my little story.
"LIVING IT….
Could define a whole lot from different people’s perspective, but from my perspective it’s about the ability to live your passion. For once, I can do what I love most which is ski and cook. I’ve never experienced this before but it sure does feel awesome and gratifying to the point that I actually like getting up. As soon as the skies turn to dark I wait for the morning, well not literally wait; come on you know what I mean hopefully. Living it also means to me to enjoy your passion to the fullest and not taking things for granted, to take what you know and make it better than what you’ve learned!
Me coming up here and cooking is bringing me back to why I choose this career, getting me away from that pub scene and getting back to the core of what I like doing; which is to enjoy coming to work and to put smiles on people faces. I had lost that passion, that drive to be better than what I am and in one instance with the simple change of scenery the drive is sparked once again. It’s that same drive I take with me when I am on my skis and that hike in -12 weather. (You are out there by yourself on a mountain that you never skied let alone hiked) You do know the higher you go the bigger the smile on your face. You want to take that chance because you never know if you are gonna get it again, well I know I am.
In all words I am living it ski, work, party, sleep repeat! Are you living it…. ?"
